The wedding of Saskia and Christos took place in Northern Greece, in the unique Katerini. From the beginning of the preparations to the end of the party, this wedding was full of vibrant colors and emotions that filled the air. In Katerin’s Mediterranean hotel, in different suites, the couple was preparing with a sweet anxiety, as the first rays of the sun bathed the room and gave a feeling of warmth. Saskia was glowing in her dress, while Christos looked full of anticipation and emotion.
In the church of Agia Paraskevi in ​​Katerini, the scene we had created with my group was truly magical. An arch adorned the entrance to the church, dressed in bold floral arrangements that you couldn’t ignore. Pink and salmon roses tied with orange chrysanthemums, while red hydrangeas and peonies added a sense of drama that broke the routine of the classic. It was a combination of fresh, modern and somewhat eccentric aesthetics, perfectly in harmony with the personality of the couple.
Every detail was designed to exude romance as well as boldness, creating an atmosphere that gave each guest the feeling of being in a fairytale world, full of vibrancy and colour. As a wedding planner, I felt like I was living a moment out of a dream, watching the couple exchange vows under this magnificent backdrop, on a day full of magic and love.
After the ceremony, the magic continued in an idyllic party space, surrounded by lush green trees and with small waterfalls adding a calm, almost dreamlike sound to the setting. An impressive combination of flavors and design lifted the romantic atmosphere of the evening.
Their first dance was one of the moments that remained indelible. Under the starry sky, they danced with a simplicity and harmony that moved everyone present. With the lights playing between the trees and the sound of the water from the waterfalls completing the picture, the couple seemed to belong to another era, more romantic, more dreamy. And after the dance, the party ignited, full of fun, laughter and love that dominated the atmosphere until late at night.
