Two summers ago, on the island of Kea, I met Gogo and Demosthenes. A couple glowing with love and dreaming of their own fairytale wedding next to the endless blue of the Aegean. So began a journey of magic and inspiration for me as I found myself planning every little detail of the most important day of their lives.
The ceremony in the small church of Agios Emilianos was decorated like a scene from a fairy tale, with white roses, lisianthus and pampas blowing in the gentle summer breeze. Every corner of the venue glowed with romance and sophistication, while the corridor was decorated with large vases of roses and tall pampas. As all eyes were on the couple, I felt as if I had experienced magic being born before my eyes.
But the magic didn’t stop there. The villa that hosted the reception, with its swimming pool and magnificent view of the sunset, was transformed into a dream setting. The guests danced under the starry sky, and every laugh, every dance step, was a new page in their love story. The atmosphere, full of joy and warmth, seemed to hold time in its hands, while the music and partying filled the night with life.
